Confidence begets competence

Competence begets confidence

It's a self perpetuating cycle.

The point is to recognise that I said Confidence,

NOT over-confidence or arrogance

Confidence is willingness to try, to work towards, to follow a plan.

Over-confidence is more like skipping steps, being impatient and rushing

Be confident in your ability to follow a plan and develop competence.

That competence then will remove the need for arrogance, hubris, fear and anything other than that quiet confidence of a person who has trust in their ability.

And there's no telling how good that story can get!
